Thanks to its location, the Savinja Valley represents an excellent starting point for your cycling adventures. You can take the marked flat paths through the hop fields or embark on an adventure along the steep slopes of the surrounding hills. All bike paths are maintained, tidy and well-marked.

The watercourses of the Savinja Valley are an attractive location for fishermen. The Preserje (pond) and the Braslovško jezero (lake) are near our camp. If you are a fan of rapids, the Savinja river, which flows next to our camp, is the choice for you. Permits for all locations can be purchased from us or online.

There are quite a few great climbing locations in the vicinity. Marija Reka, Vransko, Kotečnik, Okrešelj and Igla (Needle) are all natural climbing areas. They are well-marked and suitable for all levels of difficulty. In case of bad weather, there is also a climbing wall nearby (Celje, 14 km).

Vacationers who enjoy calm morning or evening walks can take the paths along the Savinja river and between the hop fields. For those in search of a more demanding ascent, the surrounding hills offer breathtaking views (suitable for all levels of difficulty). You can get hiking maps in our camp.

During hot summer days you can cool down in the nearby lakes, rivers and pools - Šmartinsko jezero (lake), Velenjsko jezero (lake), Braslovško jezero (lake), the ever-cold Savinja river and the summer pool in Prebold. In case of bad weather, there are also several indoor swimming pools nearby (Topolšica, Celje, Laško).

For guests who favour active leisure-time activities, there are two sports parks nearby with different playgrounds for both individual and group sports (tennis, basketball, football, beach volleyball...). Both sports parks include playgrounds for children. Horseback riding is also possible in the surrounding area.
